Our annual Spring Special kicks into gear in a month, really gets rolling in later March, and goes through the end of April. $400 for a day of guided fishing is already a sweet deal, and when you time it right and get a sample of our great spring fishing - Baetis! Skwallas! March Browns! Midges!- it can be some of the best fishing of the whole season.
Early season fishing in Montana is not for the fair weather angler - layer up, expect cool mornings and be ready for any sort of weather. The upside is you will see a lot less folks than you will in summer months, the trout will be well rested and hungry after their long winter nap, and the weather can surprise you and be pretty darn nice. April and May have become preferred months to fish for many of our anglers the last few years, and you might want to find out why for yourself.
