Tomorrow, Friday April 29th, is the annual gathering of the Upper Missouri Watershed Alliance in Craig, Montana. 6PM at the Craig Fire Hall. You should definitely come and here's why:
~ First and foremost, to show support for a grassroots non-profit group working hard on behalf of a great river and fishery, quite possibly your favorite one.
~ To hear from the fisheries biologists, stream entomologists and UMOWA board members about how the river and its fish and insect community are doing, and what the plans are for future projects.
~ Some great barbecue served up by Rocky Harbor of the Dearborn Ranch, along with some camaraderie with your local fishing friends and neighbors.
And if you can't make it tomorrow, please consider making a donation to the conservation effort right here - it's quick and easy to do, and it will definitely up your fishing karma points.
We hope to see you tomorrow!
